Shipment Acceptance: Call the golf course ahead of time to confirm that they can accept shipments on your behalf. Some golf courses may have restrictions or specific policies regarding package deliveries, and it’s important to verify this information before shipping your items.
Delivery Location: Packages shipped to a golf course typically deliver to a designated area — such as the pro shop or golf shop, a bag drop or bag room, a shipping and receiving area, or the security gate at gated properties. Upon arrival, staff at the golf course can assist you in locating your shipment. It’s a good idea to ask for specifics on where to go and who to contact to retrieve your package.
Special Instructions: Inquire if the golf course requires any special instructions when shipping items to their location. This could include specific labeling, notifying a particular staff member, or adhering to certain delivery times. Providing the correct details ensures your package is properly handled and reaches you without any issues.
Potential Fees: Ask if the golf course charges any fees to receive shipments. Some courses may impose handling or storage fees for receiving and holding packages. Knowing about any potential costs in advance can help you avoid unexpected charges upon arrival. Ship Sticks is not responsible for any third-party fees.
Delivery timing: Your shipment will deliver to the golf course by end of day on or before the delivery-by date on your order. We recommend scheduling your shipment to arrive at least one business day prior to when it is needed. Please keep that in mind as you make plans on when to collect your shipment. You will receive a notification from Ship Sticks once your shipment is delivered. While you can schedule your shipment to arrive on or before a specific weekday, actual deliveries may occur on any day of the week.
