The delivery-by date is the date by which your shipment will be delivered — your shipment can arrive on or before it. Here's what to keep in mind when choosing it:
Potential Early Delivery: Deliveries can arrive on or before the selected delivery-by date, so it's advisable to be prepared for an early arrival.
Weekday Scheduling: Delivery-by dates can only be scheduled between Monday and Friday. Depending on the route of your shipment, it could potentially deliver on a weekend.
Carrier Partners: Deliveries are performed by one of our trusted partner carriers: FedEx, UPS, or DHL.
Residential Delivery Times: For deliveries to residential addresses, the delivery can occur as late as 8:00 pm. Plan accordingly to ensure someone is available to receive the shipment.
Delivery Timing: It's recommended to choose a delivery-by date at least 1 business day before your shipment is needed. Since our deliveries occur by end-of-day, this ensures you receive your shipment for when you need to use it.
Holiday Restrictions: Holidays cannot be selected as delivery-by dates. Carriers do not operate on holidays.
Transit Time Estimates: Domestic transit times depend on the service level you choose:
- Next Day Express: 1 business day
- Second Day Express: 2 business days
- Three Day Express: 3 business days
- Ground: varies with the distance between your pickup and delivery locations
No matter the service level, any shipment can deliver on or before its delivery-by date. International transit times vary by destination country. During booking, each service level shows its ship date and delivery-by date for your route.
Choosing your delivery-by date during booking: In the Shipping Options step, pick your delivery-by date on the calendar and you'll see every service level offered for that date, each with its price and required ship date. If you'd rather plan around your pickup day, click "Choose pickup date instead." To start a booking, go to shipsticks.com, enter your locations, and click Get started.
