At Ship Sticks, we make it easy to get your clubs to your next course. If you're planning to send your sticks in a hard travel case, simply follow the steps below to ensure that your clubs arrive at their destination securely and on-time. For a better understanding of how to package your clubs in a hard case and attach the shipping label, please watch the provided instructional videos below.
Step 1 - Remove your club heads from the shaft, if able to, and mark their settings with blue painters’ tape.
Step 2 - Wrap your club heads in bubble wrap or place them inside of their respective club head cover and stow them in a pocket of your golf bag.
Step 3 - For additional protection, add a stiff arm to the bag by extending it and locking it in place. Wrap a golf towel or bubble wrap around the shafts of your clubs for added protection, too.
Step 4 - Carefully place your clubs in your hard travel case and buckle it shut.
Step 5 - Print your shipping label(s). Labels can be accessed in your 'Order Confirmation' email or by logging into your Ship Sticks account. Be sure to print two copies of your shipping label, one to be placed on the inside of your travel bag and one for the outside. If you have booked a round-trip shipment you should bring your return labels with you in your luggage. Packaging return labels inside your outbound shipment may create a delivery issue.
Step 6 - Use a shipping label luggage tag or an oversized luggage tag to attach your shipping label to your case. These tags can typically be acquired form a nearby FedEx Office Print & Ship Center or UPS Store. To find a location near you, click here. Tags can also be purchased over the phone with a Customer Support Representative. If you are unable to acquire a fly tag, labels may be taped to the upper area of your hard case using clear packing tape.
